I stayed up all night studying for my state certification exam & my roomie’s gal snapshotted me when I returned victorious in the morning.
I cooked everyone breakfast, took down the holiday decorations, chugged a beer, & passed out in my bed.
We’re moving out this month. I miss this place so hard already.
Worked my fingers bare at the Bike Collective (inside the New Haven Free Store at 55 Church) helping teenagers from the city build bicycles. They have to work for five hours & fix two bikes, then we let them take one home. The busted bikes are donated by Yale & L.L. Bean among others & if you have a rusting stallion in your garage please drop it off!
I’ll be putting together some single speed bikes with vintage import frames over the next couple of weeks that we’re hoping to sell for between 50-150 bucks. Should you be in the market for a mode of transportation that runs on awesome I highly recommend stopping by. Check out some baked goods & free threads while you’re there, sign up to volunteer, whatever strikes your fancy.
